...a series of artistically-rendered photographs highlighting our connection with the Susquehanna River environment.Considering the recent flood that transformed our region into a federal disaster area, this bond remains despite the devastation caused.
The project showcases this undeniable connection as we find ourselves on the cusp of surrender to a different force eyeing our river environment, that of hydro-fracking.The art integrates painted imagery with photographs of the Tioga County Historical Society Museum, and Courthouse.
Limited-Edition prints and Poster prints are for sale.10% will be donated to the Tioga County Historical Society Museum for flood recovery.
This project is made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Decentralization Program, and administered locally by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
